Detail:
On August 15, 2014 06:51 UTC, the Device Cloud Technology Team encountered an issue impacting the storage tier. This issue resulted in a service disruption for 6 minutes, from 06:51 UTC to 06:57 UTC. Thank you for your continued business and patience.

Root Cause:
The Device Cloud Technology Team discovered that a maintenance job combined with the methods used to access data in a specific table resulted in the storage tier being inaccessible for a brief period of time. This resulted in intermittent disruptions during the time period listed above.

Actions to Prevent Future Incidents:
- The Device Cloud Technology Team has deployed a patch on August 15, 2014 23:55 UTC to improve performance of the storage tier.

This resulted in a performance degradation from 09:22 UTC to 09:26 UTC affecting a subset of our customers. An internal process was identified to be impacting performance of the storage tier.
