Detail:
The Device Cloud Technology Team has resolved a performance degradation issue regarding the email sub-system. The problem was resolved by September 2, 2014 13:15 UTC. During this time, Customers may have experienced high latency or delays in receiving email alerts from Device Cloud.

Root Cause:
The Device Cloud Technology Team discovered an issue with the email gateway component that impacted the number of concurrent emails that could be sent/received simultaneously resulting in a backlog of emails.

Actions to Prevent Future Incidents:
- The Device Cloud Technology Team has corrected the configuration issue
- Additional alerts have been configured to notify the Device Cloud Technology Team proactively should a similar backlog incident occur
